Personal Settings
Four settings belong to you rather than to the workspace. They sit together at the top of Settings, under Personal, and nobody else’s account is affected by anything you change there.
Where they are
Open the account menu in the workspace header and choose My profile & settings. That lands on Profile, with the settings sidebar showing Personal as its first group:
- Profile — your photo, your name, and the email address you sign in with
- Preferences — the timezone, date format and clock style every timestamp is drawn in for you
- Notifications — the optional emails you have opted in to
- API keys — personal keys that let an external AI client reach this workspace over MCP
The workspace groups below Personal — Users & access, Projects, Fields and the rest — are workspace administration, and which of them you see depends on the permissions you hold. Personal is always there. See Workspace Home for the whole Settings sidebar.
What each page holds

All three pages save the same way
Profile, Preferences and Notifications each edit in place and each carries one save bar at the foot of the page. Nothing you change on these pages is written until you press Save changes.
- At rest the bar reads No changes, and Save changes is unavailable — hovering it explains “Nothing has changed yet”.
- The moment you edit anything, the bar reads Unsaved changes and both Discard and Save changes become live.
- Discard puts every field on the page back to the saved values. On Profile that includes a photo you had picked but not yet saved — it is dropped without ever being uploaded.
- A save confirms with a short message: Profile saved, Preferences saved, or Email settings saved.
One exception, and it says so. Changing your sign-in email is not a save — it completes from two inboxes, minutes or hours later, and ends your session when it does. It therefore has its own control and its own dialog on the Profile page, and the save bar has nothing to do with it. See Profile.

Profile, Preferences and Notifications were once anchors on a single page. A link to /profile#preferences or /profile#notifications — a bookmark, or a link someone sent you — lands on the matching page today rather than dropping you on Profile.
