Create a Workspace
Creating a workspace registers your account and gives your team a dedicated environment with its own URL. Sign-up is passwordless — you verify your identity with email or a connected provider, then name your workspace.
Before you begin
You'll need a valid email address (or a Google or GitHub account) and a name for your team's workspace. Workspace URLs cannot be changed after creation, so choose carefully.
Steps
- Go to the TestOrchestrator sign-up page and choose how to continue: Continue with Google, Continue with GitHub, or Continue with email.
- If you chose email, enter your email address, then open the sign-in email we send and click the link (or enter the one-time code from it). With Google or GitHub, you authenticate with that provider instead.
- On the Create a workspace screen, enter a workspace name. This becomes your URL — you'll see a live preview as you type — and submit.
- Set up your profile (your display name and an optional avatar).
- You're taken to your new workspace dashboard. No password is ever created.
Your email is already verified Because you sign in by clicking a link sent to your inbox (or via Google/GitHub), your email address is confirmed as part of signing in. There's no separate email-verification step. See Email Verification for details.
Workspace URL rules
Workspace names are converted to a subdomain automatically:
- Spaces become hyphens
- Letters are lowercased
- Only letters, numbers, and hyphens are kept
- Must be between 3 and 63 characters
Reserved names Some names are reserved and cannot be used:admin, api, www, app, staging, demo, and others. If your chosen name is reserved, you'll be prompted to choose a different one.
Next steps
Once your workspace is set up, you can:
- Invite team members from the admin panel
- Create your first project, or try the sample project to explore TestOrchestrator with pre-built test data
