How it feels

No spinners

Mark forty cases passed and watch them change before your hand leaves the key.

Every edit applies the instant you make it and syncs in the background. If the connection drops mid-save, you keep your change and get a Retry.

Keyboard first

Quick add, search, selection and bulk actions are a keystroke away, so a long list is never slow to work through.

Light and dark

One compact layout, a left rail, dense tables that stay readable. Both themes ship, and the one you pick is remembered.

The product

Four surfaces your team will live in.

Each one is a real screen from the product. Nothing here is a mockup.

Cases that fit your process, not the other way round.

Define the fields and templates your team needs, then write cases in a dense list, table or board. Group by folder, filter, select many and act on them at once.

  • Admin-defined fields, templates and statuses
  • List, table and board views, grouped by folder
  • Peek a case without leaving the list

Run it, record it, see where you stand.

Build a run from any set of cases, assign it, and record results step by step in the runner. Every run shows its progress at a glance, and its cases open in a list, table or board.

  • Runner with result history and evidence attachments
  • Runs grouped by cycle, with pass, fail and blocked bars
  • Environments and owners set in bulk
Test runs in the docs →

Cycles show whether the release is ready.

Every cycle carries a release gate: all scoped cases executed, pass rate met, no failing cases, exploration sessions completed. The checks re-evaluate as results land, so the answer is on screen before anyone asks for it.

  • Release gate: executed, pass rate, failures, sessions
  • Burn-up and pass rate, live as results arrive
  • Sub-cycles roll up to the parent
Cycles in the docs →
TestOrchestrator cycle overview: a burn-up chart, a 65% pass rate results bar, the runs in the cycle, and a release gate panel listing which checks pass and fail.

Exploratory sessions, with the evidence kept.

Set a charter, time-box the session, and log notes, findings and results as you go. Each completed session counts toward the cycle's release gate.

  • Charter, objective and time box
  • Timestamped session log with results and findings
  • Pass and fail tallies on every session

Integrations

Works with the tracker you already use.

Find the issue from inside a case or run and link it; on a case you also choose the relation. Linked issues show up on the run and in every cycle's Issues tab.

AI, stated plainly

AI where it saves time. Your agent, your client.

Two things today: test cases drafted from the ticket, and an MCP server so the agent you already use can work in your workspace.

Every plan

Generate test cases from a source

Paste a Jira issue, Linear ticket, Notion page, Azure DevOps work item or raw text. Drafts are written against your project template and land in a review step before anything is saved.

TestOrchestrator Generate with AI review step over the Test Cases list: three drafted checkout cases from pasted text, each with a keep checkbox, an editable title, a priority and a step count, the first expanded to show its five steps and expected results, and Add 3 cases to the Checkout & Payments folder.

Connect your own AI client over MCP

Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client can read your projects, author cases, start runs and link issues through the MCP server. It uses a personal API key and only your permissions, never across workspaces.

claude mcp add --transport http testorchestrator \
  https://api.testorchestrator.com/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer to_live_xxxx…"

Bring the agent you already use. TestOrchestrator stays the system of record.

Set up the MCP server →

On Pro, the QA agent posts run results to linked Linear issues after a run closes and queues follow-up actions for approval. AI usage is included on every plan and resets monthly.

Questions

More in the pricing questions and the docs.

What is TestOrchestrator?

TestOrchestrator is test case management for QA teams and AI agents. Write and organise test cases, run them in test runs grouped by cycle, record exploratory sessions, and link everything to Jira, Linear, GitHub, Azure DevOps or Notion issues. AI drafts test cases from an issue, and an MCP server lets your own AI agent work in the workspace.

Is TestOrchestrator really free?

Yes. The Free plan covers 5 users, 2 projects, 200 active test cases, and 1 GB of attachments — no credit card required, no time limit.

Does TestOrchestrator charge per user?

No. Pricing is flat per workspace: $59/month at Starter (10 users) and $189/month at Pro (40 users), or $49 and $179 a month billed annually. Add testers, devs, and PMs without watching the bill climb.

How long does setup take?

Most teams sign up, create their cases, and run a first cycle the same day. There are no migration consultants or multi-quarter implementation projects.

Who is TestOrchestrator built for?

Small QA teams: 5 to 40 users on Free, Starter and Pro, and larger teams on Business. Startups shipping weekly, lean QA teams stuck in spreadsheets, agencies juggling multiple clients, and engineering-led teams without a dedicated QA lead.

Does TestOrchestrator have AI test case generation?

Yes — live since May 2026. Paste a Jira issue, Linear ticket, Notion page, Azure DevOps work item, or raw text and TestOrchestrator drafts structured test cases against your project template. Drafts land in a review step before saving. AI usage is included on every plan: limited on Free, generous on Starter, and 5× Starter on Pro. Workspace admins opt in from inside the app and accept the AI data-processing addendum to enable it.
